Why This Committee Matters?
Democracy does not run on autopilot. The advocacy committee exists to make sure YPinLex is always in the room, at the polls, at the forums, and at the table where decisions get made. This committee tracks local, state, and national advocacy initiatives, organizes candidate forums, drives voter registration, and prepares the chapter to engage meaningfully in the civic conversations shaping Lexington. If you believe that young professionals have a responsibility to show up for their community beyond just their careers, this is your committee.
