Melvin Lewis
Melvin Lewis, was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since he has been living in Kentucky, he has made sure that his footprint will truly be a long lasting one.. Melvin has been part of YPinLEX for quite some time now and has moved his way around holding various positions in the Executive Leadership Team. Now as President, he hopes to bring new energy plans to continue to grow what is already an amazing organization.
Outside of YP he is known to many as DJ Forerunner, an open format disk jockey, providing services for corporations, weddings, private events and clubs. He specializes in partnering with brands to provide premier, upscale experiences. He is also one of the official DJ's for the University of Kentucky Athletics and can be heard Fridays on Lexington's Hot 102.5 for the Mix at 6.
Stephen Sam has a passion for community and technology. It has driven him to his current career path at Lexmark. He has completed numerous internships at business and technology driven companies, as well as conducted research in Computer Science. He has completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Connecticut.
Sam's abilities include problem solving, programming, teaching, and public speaking amongst many others. Currently he has refined a proficiency in Python, Java/Groovy, and JavaScript. He is actively adding new languages, frameworks, and skills to my toolbox.

Jones

Morgan Jones is a Lexington native and proud Kentucky State University Alum. She has honed her expertise in optimizing operational efficiency and driving productivity improvements, particularly within the educational sector. At The Lexington School, she plays a key role in streamlining administrative processes, enabling smoother workflows and enhanced organizational performance as the executive assistant.
Fluent in Spanish, Morgan excels in fostering inclusive communication and bridging gaps within diverse communities, ensuring that all stakeholders feel heard and supported.
Morgan’s passion for continuous improvement, paired with her commitment to serving others, makes her a vital asset to any team. Her commitment to her community is recognized through her service as secretary of the Charles Young Center Advisory Board, Assistant Church clerk of Marble Creek Missionary Baptist Church and work with the Prichard Committee and the Neighborhood Healers Fellows.
Brittiny Jefferson is a dedicated and emerging professional, currently pursuing a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Eastern Kentucky University, with an anticipated graduation in May 2025. Her commitment to community empowerment is demonstrated through her active leadership within the Lexington Urban League of Young Professionals (LULYP), where she serves as both Historian and Treasurer, contributing to the organization's mission of fostering social and economic equity. Recognizing the importance of holistic community well-being, Ms. Jefferson participates in the Neighborhood Healers Project, further enhancing her capacity to facilitate positive change. She is also a valued and active member of the Greater New Hope Christian Center, demonstrating a strong foundation in faith and community service. Ms. Jefferson's multifaceted engagement showcases her unwavering dedication to academic excellence and impactful community leadership.

Tiffany Jackson is an accomplished Human Resources leader with a passion for empowering people and organizations. Originally from the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, she earned her Bachelor of Science and MBA from Hampton University through the prestigious five-year MBA program.
With extensive experience in HR strategy, organizational development, and talent management, Tiffany has worked across various industries, including retail, manufacturing, and hospitality. She is dedicated to fostering inclusive workplaces, driving business success through people initiatives, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
An active member of the Urban League Young Professionals, Tiffany serves as the Membership Chair, where she is committed to engaging and growing the YP network. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cycling, and curating memorable experiences for friends and family.
